A very neat resource when you want to add flavour text about the fungi growing in your world - especially if you wish to avoid using 'real world' fungi or do not happen to know much about them.
For each of six major morphological aspects, there's a list of options. You may either roll a D6 or pick one that takes your fancy. The aspects are colour, cap-shape, overall size, colour pattern, stem shape and texture... it's obvious that it will be a 'mushroom' of some kind that will result, as these are features commonly used in their identification. (This is all bringing back memories of leading undergraduates on 'fungal forays' into the woods around my university when a doctoral student...)
If you want them to be more than just decorative, there's an additional table set up for a 2D6 roll which gives various in-game effects including beneficial or harmful spores and even how nice they are if eaten.
Fun, simple to use, wide range of 'realistic' outcomes... this is the sort of handy resource that adds to the realism of your 'alternate reality' and its use ought to be encouraged.
