Feats of Endurance

This pdf is 3 pages long, 1 page front cover, 1 page SRD, 1 page content, so let's check out the feats of endurance!

-Enduring Faith: Counts as Endurance, allows you to use you highest level divine spell still uncast as endurance-bonus, but only works if you have some uncast divine spells left. Nice!

-Improved Endurance: Gain the endurance-bonus on saves vs. a variety of conditions like dazed, stunned etc. and also decrease the number of required consecutive saves to get rid of a disease by 1. Again, a very nice idea!

-Peerless Resolve: Reduce your endurance bonus by 1 for 24 hours as an immediate action to gain the bonus to a skill check or will save. Nice, though this one could have ben stronger - if the feat allowed for taking e.g. the whole endurance bonus or increments to succeed in one truly important check, this would be much cooler.

-Perfect Health: +2 HP, +1 to fort and ref-saves and you heal HD+Con-modifier HP when resting. You lose the bonus to saves when under the effect of some negative conditions. Nice, though not as cool as the first two.

-Sorcerous Stamina: Ever wanted to show those bookworms what a tough-as-nails sorceror is? This is the feat: You get temporal HP equal to your combined spell levels available. Every time you take damage, you may opt to subtract some, all, or nothing of the damage from this pool. Every point subtracted from the pool kills off one of your spell levels, allowing you to burn your sorcerous power to stay longer alive. An awesome idea, though the feat lacks one crucial line that I hope will be included: As written, casting spells does not diminish the pool of temporary hit points, which it imho should. Other than that one of the coolest feat-ideas I've seen in quite a while.

-Survivalist: +2 HP, enhanced survival aid for allies (very nice for team players) and become harder to track.

-Tenacious Fortitude: When failing a fort-save that would result in one of a slew of negative conditions, you may delay the onset by one round.

-Will to Live:+2 HP and add your wis-mod to your con when determining negative HP threshold.

Conclusion: Editing and formatting is very good, I didn't notice any significant glitches. Layout adheres to the artless, no-frills 2-column standard of Abandoned Arts and the pdf has no bookmarks and needs none at this length. Wow! I actually enjoyed reading this humble little pdf that not only makes endurance stop sucking, but actually features some extremely nice ideas. While my favorite feat could use the aforementioned caveat and not all feats are as brilliant, the pdf nevertheless, especially at the low price point, deserves a final rating of 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5. Well done!

Endzeitgeist out.
