Beautifully drawn images... Incredible figures... and an unheard of 100+ figures and scenery all laid out in a well-designed format. Better yet, it is less than $5.00 USD. If you haven't picked this up yet, my question for you is "Why haven't you?"

This set is unbelievable! It offers a limitless set of terrain for a mere $5.00! Not only does this set feature a sturdy set of terrain in brilliant colors, but it ALSO breaks down very easily for storage, or to reconfigure it. As an added bonus, the elements are very esy to construct so you can assemble them quickly, and connect them up to give you terrain or objectives. The pipes themselves can also be constructed to be walls to block line of sight, or provide cover for your troops.

This is a stunning model! It goes together fairly simply, and looks incredible when built. This model could have benefitted from a couple reinforcers in a couple key places (like the array and the base, for example).

All-in-all, not one complaint, and nothing but satisfaction from this beautiful, rich in color model.

This, like all of Mr. Graffam's models, is stupendous! This set is unique in the way that it doesn't use layers. Instead, it has pages upon pages of wall and gate elements with various textures on them. Had Mr. Graffam used layers, the elements wouldn't have had the diversity that the finished product has. Amazing set!

What a great set of direction that show different ways to assemble these AWESOME figures. Simpla and effective.

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!

This is one of the COOLEST sets of figures I have ever purchased! Forget the fact that it has incredible artwork! Forget that the images have shadows showing through the steam, and it looks like the steam is semi-transparent... What SELLS this set is the fact that it is BEAUTIFULLY drawn with very good detail, AND you can customize it to YOUR satisfaction! You can litterally change the colors of the troops' uniforms AND ALSO select the weapons that you want them to wield!

This is one of the most AWESOME sets of figures I have ever seen!

When I realized that this set was going to be discontinued, I finally had the incentive I needed to snatch it up!

The artwork is brilliant, and the colors are very rich. Some of the poses of the figures look a little unnatural with their elbows pointing out at odd angles. Aside from the strange poses on a couple of the figures, the set overall is outstanding!

I am very happy with this set, and urge you to grab it while you can. For less than a dollar, it is a STEAL!

When I first printed out this model, and I looked it over, I saw some very disturbing items:

1) There was NO directions (other than one picture of a completed model on the front page). 2) There were series of difficult folds that had the tabs in the wrong places. 3) The "hover" mechanisms that mount underneath had no dicernable marks or explainations. I assumed that the "bands" were fold-over rings that had the hover disks mount on them.

I am an experienced modeller, so I was able to figure out the strange folds on the front pretty easily. I also noticed that the front and rear parts HAD to be assebled before you could connect the barrel, so by simply moving the tabs around, this was able to be fixed pretty quickly.

All in all, they promise a great looking model for a dollar!! They deliver! Not ONLY that, but the model comes in a half-dozen or so colors, and the end product does look very nice. I would have given this a higher rating (especially due to the very low price), but with the above mentioned problems, I feel that this is a fair rating.

This set was a little disappointing. Yes, it is only $.99, and it does offer dice and stat card information, however, the figures are the MAIN reason I purchase sets like these, and they were not very good.

In my opinion, had the artists spent a little more time on the figures, then this could have EASILY been a 5 out of 5 stars. The dice are well designed, the information included is good, but the figures (which SHOULD sell the product) actually hurt the over-all set. The figures were original, for the most part, but not drawn as well as they could/should have been.

Perhaps I am being a little hard on a set that is less than a dollar, but I am still trying to decide if it was a dollar well spent...

This set wasn't quite as good as their other sets. There are a couple nice-looking figures in this set, but overall, there are some scale and proportion problems.

The set DOES offer a dozen figures, and they are good quality, but things like a figures head being too large or too small takes away from a "professional" set.

The characters are original, and they are well represented. It wasn't a "bad" set, just not up to par with other sets offered by this and other publishers.

A little refining next time can raise your rating substantially.

HOLY SMOKE! What a fun and versatile model! I haven't had this much fun with a model since I picked up SLICK's NCC Power Armor.

This fast little beast uses a series of fold-over pieces and 3D "boxes" to create the deadliest aerial drone since the ones that Finger and Toe offer.

With the brilliant design, and TWELVE color variations (including the "blank" ones to color yourself), you could actually make swarms of these guys, and dominate the battlefiled.

Brilliant design. Beautiful colors. Awesome weapons! Pick this up and inpress your friends with an armada of these beasts reigning from on high.

These could also double as alien spacecraft in your starship battles!

WOW! What an AMAZING model! This model has ALL of the traits I look for in a model: It looks GREAT assembled; It is easy to build, so you can make LOTS of them; It has various color schemes; It doesn't cost a lot; AND, there is a bonus 15mm version for Epic Gamers!

This model can not ONLY be used in a Steampunk Genre, but would fit in PERFECTLY with ANY other genre! It could be a mobile tower belching flame constructed by Dwarven weaponsmiths in a fantasy setting; it can be used by Orcs in a Sci-Fi setting; and even in a WWII setting it could slip in as well.

A GREAT product. A WONDERFUL model. INFINITE possibilities! A MUST HAVE!

BilliamBabble strikes gold AGAIN! This set is a great map that gives you the illusion of multiple layers.

In his genius, he made a way to show squares on the map without solid lines... the tiles of course, but the planks and nails on the wood... GENIUS!

This large map was just over a dollar (USD), and WELL worth it.

I suggest picking this up, as well as his other sets! Search the Savage Cellar... IF YOU DARE!

This set was interesting. Graphically, is was "ok," but the thing that I liked the MOST about it was the different scales that were offered.

I LOVE the One Monk-style bases, that blend in well with my other miniatures, but more than that, the textures were outstanding. The figures were basic, and the artist has a unique style that isn't too flashy. The miniatures are well represented as to what they are when you see them on the gaming table.

I also like the "egg" versions for quick and easy assembly to get some figures on the board quickly.

I have not been a huge fan of ALL of Avalon Models sets, but this one really IS worth the price. Great job!
