Epic Cartography: Paths of Peril Map Pack #4
by Jamie V. D. Date Added: 06/21/2015 10:23:14
NOTE! this is ONLY a large UNeditable PDF. It is NOT compatible with virtual tabletops. You also can't make any changes to the maps. I expect when I order an electronic version of something to not just have a static product I can't interact with. I certainly expect an electronic product to be compatible with a virtual table top!
Unfortunately I bought all four products as a bundle, before discovering the issue, What a Colossal waste of money!

This is a high-quality, solid product. The art is wonderfully understated, giving a fantastical feel to the maps without beating you over the head with it. There are no surprises here – if you like the previews, you'll like the maps. My only complaint is that they're a little small; I use a virtual tabletop, and I usually like my maps a little more expansive.

4/5. Would definitely buy again.

So I tried out these maps.
First of all, the maps look gorgeous - incredible work!
I also like those little spots, where my players immediately jumped on, like a half covered stone face on the ground, a small crack in a cliff, where a little dungeon might lurk.
I had some issues with printing it to scale, but the publisher helped me out on the same day I had the issue.
Everything works fine. To printing it to scale do the following (Adobe Reader 10):
You can print the maps into 4 tile pages out of the PDF by adjusting the "Page Handling" tab to "Large Tile Pages" right in the print menu. This should split the map into 4 pieces which you can print out into 8.5x11 maps and assemble.
If you like maps, you will love these!
