For the price it's hard to argue with this piece, but a clean straight border would have gone a long way towards making this a better product, and the B&W version is almost lost in the extremely heavy blackline and shading. Still, for what it is, and at the price, the color version is a useful enough piece.

Peter Temesi delivers with an excellent character piece, with several different coloring variations of said piece. An excellent piece for a small publisher or a GM.

The first name in PDF template design for both covers and interiors for a reason, Sade's design packs are an invaluable resource for those publishing on a shoestring, or those GM's looking to bring something extra to their game table.

Grabbed these as my first piece of Sade's work, and will admit, I am not typically a fan of CG style art, but the weapon series is done very well, and I did very much like the look of the pieces once I got them open in my editor and could really look them over. Have already found usages for several of the pieces contained within. As a series for a small publisher, these are a no brainer, as they work perfectly to allow you to illustrate a wide range of weaponry.

My low rating is a reflection of this misrepresentation of the commercially usable status of the design, not the artwork. The art is excellent, but this is NOT a license/copyright-free design, so be VERY careful when using it for commercial work. We put it into one of our products and were promptly contacted by several people, including the original designer of the 3D model, pointing us to the original copyright. Additionally, this is close enough to Halo Elite armour to have gotten one polite-yet-pointed email from one of the modelers at Bungie. Use this image at your own risk.

Hi. I bought the model, and in the model license contained it can be use for commercial use (means: the rendered image, not the base model). If you look around on RPGnow, many stock-provider use purschased models, so it's far away from illegal. But i will ask about it too. Thank you for letting me know. |

Lovely digital art of three female water spirits/fairies, in numerous poses.

This one is just ok. I like the design of the ship but it is kind of hard to see against the aged parchment backdrop. I would have liked it better if it was done in a line art or color style. It might be hard to find a use for this piece without extensive Photoshopping.

We decided to use this design kit for the upcoming second edition of our Pangenre RPG Magic supplement (2012?), and the first feedback we've received from the playtesters is that they love the enhancements.
The backgrounds and borders included with the product come in A4 format, so converting to US Letter format entails some scaling, but it's not noticable on the full page.
Based on our experience with this kit, we just picked up another kit for use with our next release.

In all honesty I'm more of a fan of Sade's covers and design elements than the rest of the portfolio as a whole. However, I love this set. Despite the fact that it won't fit in the prject I'm working on now or the one I've got coming up next I bought it anyway because I loved it so much and want to use it at some point.
The colours are rich and vibrant, the detail is appealing and well conceived and the character is deeply intriguing.
I'll certainly be using this in a project in the future.

Absolutely beautiful resources, and in proper high resolution! Personally I used them to make a Magic Set Editor template for gorgeous 4e power cards that blow the official look out of the water. I didn't find the emblems as useful as the papers (and it would have been nice to have the paper, sans borders/patterns, as a tilable texture too), but at that price you can't argue with how good these look.

The collection of textures in this collection are very nice and do a good job of evoking dragon skin. They would work well in a variety of contexts where you need to illustrate or suggest such a tome.

I had a bit of trouble with this product which seems to have some unintentional colour and lines surrounding the art itself. The result of which was I had to take it out manually in a picture manipulation program. Once I did this however, the actual art of the tentacles is great, and will see a fair bit of use in one of my upcoming projects.
The problem is one I’ve not had with anything else by this company and it certainly hasn’t put me off future purchases from Sade, which I almost always love. None the less I’ve knocked one star of my rating of the product as a result.
If you don’t mind tidying up the white background a bit this is still a very good product and well worth the money.

My only complaint with this piece is the white wavy border around it. I would have rather had a clean, strait edge but cropping it is no big deal. I recommend this piece because even if you don't use it in a project it makes a nice desktop background. I hope Sade produces more work like this.

I may not be the best person to ask, as I have a prediliction for photo-realistic art...
So, looking at the first image, the bloke - to me he looks much better 3D although even there the proportions are a bit off. Moving on to the lady with 'sword and board' - she actually looks slightly better in 2D, even though she gives an appearance of being ill-at-ease in stance and is not wearing a suitable costume if she's serious about brawling!
The lady in the 'yellow-petals' dress is also marginally better in 2D, likewise the one in... well, the top's cut like a ballgown but the rest doesn't look like a party frock.
Overall, based on your particular art style, Sade, I think you ought to stick to 2D (and I have quite a lot of your art... must get round to writing about more of it!) even though I possibly prefer 3D in general.
Top marks for having the artistic courage to ask, though. Keep on drawing and I'll keep on enjoying :)

In evaluating the 4 2d images included in this product, I would have to say they're really good. I prefer these to 3d any day. The black and white image of the fighter girl is the best of the group. Her style is closest to how I prefer my artwork. After her are the two 2d color images of women. I can make them b/w with no problem. I guy would easily be a good usable image as well if he had a shirt on, but I can probably find a use for him as well. I would have preferred to have these images cropped so the image are centered on the people and a solid white background, but as is is very workable.
The 4 3d images are just "eh" to me. I'm not going to be using them. 3d art of people just doesn't do it for me.
Also 4 usable images for 50 cents is a damn good deal.
