The Age of Volondor: Kingdoms Campaign world Map Set is a fast, simple and flexible way to develop a quality fantasy Realm with tangible assets. Castles to explore, Cities to conquer, Forts to defend, Keeps to own. This set also includes temples to plunder and tombs to explore. It may be used with any new or previously published fantasy role-playing game system. It may also be used in conjunction with all other "Age of Volondor," (AoV) products.
These maps are highly detailed and use a standardized SSD iconic Dungeon Key/Legend once you learn the icons for one map, you will know it for all SSD maps. Details visible in maps include such things as thickness of walls. Where torches, windows and doors are located in walls. If doors are secret. What type of lock is used upon a door. (No lock, heavy lock, trapped, barred, etc.) These maps show furnishings that include chairs, tables, beds, stoves, chests, fireplaces, sinks, baths, toilets and cabinets. They also depict details such as traps, statues, wells, bridges, stairs, secret levers, rotating rooms, teleporters and other unusual objects where applicable. (Animal and monsters icons may also be used to suggest purpose for various areas.)
