Fantastical Currencies: Kingdom Edition

ADD TO WISHLIST >

The Fantastical Currencies product line exists to provide quality visual aids in the form of fantasy money for use with any rpg setting or system.

Fantastical Currencies: Kingdom Edition provides “realistic” currency that might exist in any fantasy kingdom. We strive to make the money as generic as possible and provide a detailed product that inspires creative game play. In this pdf you will find two (2) versions of the currency cards depending on your preference. Large cards are more visually appealing and resemble real world currency as far as size. however, the small cards are more convenient and can be produced easier and cheaper as bulk items. You will find large and small sizes in all the following currency types:

Copper- 1, 5, 10, 50, 100 labeled bills
Silver- 1, 5, 10, 50, 100 labeled bills
Gold- 1, 5, 10, 50, 100, 1,000, 10,000 labeled bills.

Also included is a set of large bills with all three designes that are blank to allow full customization. The blank areas can be filled in with whatever currency name unique to your setting and set at any price range. This is perfect for homebrewed games and hopefully will allow you to enhance your world even further.
All currency is provided as print quality grayscale images. These can be printed as is, or for extra flair printed on different colored cardstock depending on value. This can help at even more game flavor to the cards and aid in organization.
If you enjoy these cards and have any comments or suggestions on future products, feel free to contact me at rick@smallnichegames.

Pages 24 on get increasingly smaller in size, thus if I were to print them, the denominations wouldn't be the same size as one another.

For some reason, likely accident, you have this product listed under the "Publisher Resources" Product Type, which is meant for Stock Art and other publisher aides. You ought to re-list it, make it easier to find for those customers looking for it, and so that it won't come up where it doesn't belong and cause confusion.

Still, I was happy for the reminder of this product (and the other currency products) while browsing through my library. They will be helpful in the game I’m running with teenagers at the library, I’ll have to get them printed up this weekend. Thanks for always providing great gaming content!

It has been fixed. It also is listed under the appropriate category for visual aids, but I believe when this product was originally uploaded it did not have as many categories.

We also released a print mini-card version of gold money, however, they did not sell as well these had.

Thanks for your quick response! Always reassuring to see, although you are so active & prolific a publisher I'd hardly expect anything less :)
You're probably right; lots has changed (almost all for the better) with the way RPGNow works, certainly since I've been a customer (almost 6 years now). Miscategorization hardly a big deal, but in the 400 odds & ends I've picked up under the Publisher Resources category, only a handful or two didn't belong, and I must admit to a little OCD when organizing my stuff. Although it's worse when it does belong but isn't in the category, then you have to hope you remember the right title or publisher!
At first I thought you were talking about the gold coins product (I think I have all the digital monies, either via individual purchase or your awesome mega bundles). But then I saw you have the PoD cards now, too. PoD's a tougher sell for me, as crossing the Canadian border shoots the shipping up substantially, so I've only purchased a couple of books that...See more

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
