Grabbed these last night and wanted to make sure i gave the designers' props. 3D printing noob that i am i LOVE well crafted supportless minis. The details that come through on these figures is incredible. The wrinkles in the skin around the neck, the scaly pebbly skin on the arms and legs, the pouches... printed incredibly well with my Ender5 Pro.

Things got a little rough/messy at the bottom of the shell. But it would have been more rough if i had to clean off supports. A couple of the belts/packs straps have buckles and a couple of those failed as they are essentially a single unsecured loop of filament.

Overall... i'm amazed that i can have an entire clan of tortles printed for less than $10, primarily thanks to these figures.

These are simply fantastic. We are playing a highly modified Mice and Mystics game. These work out perfectly to scale. I bought these and your lizardfolk as well. I hope to see more heroic animal types as well as some minion types, rats, ect... Thanks!

These are perfect. I am running a campaign in which a mad alchemist has been extracting the essence from dead humans and using it to create servile animal "hybrids". About ten of these Turdle guys are going to have escaped, and begun a monastic life along a river near a major city. They've been farming and brewing beer. Everything was going fine, until some goblins took up residence in a nearby barrow... "Centinarian Monastic Brewmaster Turdles". Also, my son loves these models. ;)

These print really well. I've printed a full set. While I LOVE the skeletons, because... who ever has enough Skeletons? The Turdles are more specialized. At his point, I'm not 100% sure where I will use them. But, beyond finding a use off hand, they are awesome looking. The sculps look really nice, they print really well, and just look good. Eventually, I want to convert one of my printers to a .25mm nozzle and dedicate it to printing miniatures.

I really love these Turdles, I hope more or other animals continue to come in the future.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
