High above the main galactic arm lies a brilliant stream of stars - the Lucanii Drift. Separated from the Confederation by a hazardous wilderness of storm-swept space, the Lucanii Drift is only now being entered and explored.

Player characters crew a Confederation starship. Their mission: to chart the unknown star systems of the Drift. To explore its new horizons. To make first contact with alien species, and to support the fragile Confederation colonies.

But all is not as it seems. The Drift is haunted by old enemies - and even deadlier ancient secrets...

The Lucanii Drift is a sandbox campaign setting for the Starships and Spacemen RPG by Goblinoid Games. It can be easily used with any science fiction rules that allow player characters to ‘boldly go’.

I really love this book. Do more. Do more. Please... do more Starships & Spacemen supplements. You definitely added a great deal to the line already with this one sourcebook. You have earned the five stars I dropped in the review.

I have a question, though. You have two classes, at least, which I dont know anything about. You mention an Administrator and a Rogue. Sounds like two perfect additions to round out my own missions. Where can I get that kind of material?

Are there any plans to expand the Drift itself? Or arrange to make another section of the Galaxy to explore into? Love the work done on this, and want to see it expanded if possible.

you might want to amend the artist list since Max Blackrabbit is also listed on RPGnow as Malcolm Earle with a dozen book credits here under that name

Is the author the same Paul Kidd that wrote the Greyhawk novels White Plume Mountain, Descent into the Depths of the Earth, and Queen of the Demonweb Pits?

A couple of questions came up about some things in the book.


1.) What is the Starting Age and Age Stages (see the S&S 2e core book pgs. 15-16) for the new character races in the book?

2.) A few of the NPCs have a class that isn't in the S&S 2e core rules, like Administrator and Rouge. Do these new class have any special rules and how is advancement handled?
