The Mines Of Medgorod

The Mines Of Medgorod

ZIP File

The town of Medgorod is in dire need of heroes. One week ago, a group of miners from Medgorod stumbled upon a cavern after following a newly discovered vein of copper. As the miners investigate the cavern, they were attacked by a fierce race of unknown humanoids from deep within the tunnels. Only one miner escaped...and managed to make his way back to Medgorod to relate his horrible account of what occurred. The town council of Medgorod wasted no time in looking for brave men and women to return to the mines and attempt to rescue any surviving miners...including the head of the council's son. So brave adventurers....begin your journey to the foothills of the Gnollwatch Mountains, and answer the call for help...and see what dangers await in the Mines Of Medgorod. The Mines Of Medgord is the first adventure set in the World Of Miyr (a d20 setting by Mystique Enterprises, though the adventure can easily be converted to your current game world.) Designed for 4-8 characters, level 1-3. Look for future adventures and sourcebooks coming soon! Also included in this adventure is a preview of the new OPTIONAL SPELLCASTING SYSTEM that exists in the world of Miyr.

I used this product to start off a campaign and it was a bloody romp for my party of 5 dwarves. I think it would have been much harder for a mixed race party that needed light sources, but for a darkvision enabled group it was perfect. <br>< [...]

I really enjoyed reading through this adventure, enough so to use it in an upcoming game. The town is extremely well fleshed out with good details on structures and people. The story/plot for the adventure itself got more and more interesting the furth [...]

Nice flavorful entry-level adventure. Adventure setting has a sort of a Russian / Eastern European feel to it, and the NPC's are well sketched-out. Liked the maps. [...]

What can I say about this adventure? I think I spent more time trying to come up with something negative to say, than I did to actually read it. That says something. This adventure is quick, easy and can fits into any campaign setting (even though its [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
