This is a fantastic book. The content is fun. My biggest surprise was the high quality of the book I received. I was at first hesitant to buy PoD (having heard horror stories in the past) but this has put me firmly in the DTRPG PoD is the way to go. I wish more titles were available. Can't wait to start playing.

Is there any reason these files are watermarked? The Far Beyond Humanity book isn't.

The attachments upgrade for firearms (page 116) lists a melee upgrade (sharp) that does not seem to exist anywhere else in the book. I'm guessing that sharp was renamed to something else, but was forgotten in this one instance OR the wording is awkward and it's trying to say the attachment is sharp & has one of the other upgrade options. Also, the line of text in question is written the same way in your Far Beyond Humanity book as well.

Do you mind letting me know what is correct for the attachments upgrade? Thanks.

Oh, man! It seems I'm necroposting this answer, but if you still read this, thank you for pointing towards ID.

Because for me ID turned out to be 'That's it!' :-)

Comparing to UW :

* It's much more flexible,
* it doesn't try to systematize obvious things
* it's ready to play as is,
* it has ship playbooks,
* I like its Moves a way more
* and it's closer to Dungeon World (don't know is it an advantage)

It's also very easy to read and catch, but UW has it too

So... If you are not afraid to get a draft of a book without pictures, etc. It's a no brainer, because ID's preview is free. But I think I'll buy it when they release it

You'll get much more PC Archetypes with UW.

There are several playbooks (pregen chars), but also there is a whole system of character creation. You select yuor Origin and 2 Careers, which gives you a set of Skills to choose from (yes, there are Skills too). Then you finish your character and invent its Archetype name to your liking

I saw a POD version of this book and the cover's color was significantly washed out and there was a black bar along the back cover suggesting a mis-alignment. Have these been fixed or was it just a misprint?

Powered by the Apocalypse, which uses the same engine as Apocalypse World and Dungeon World. Essentially, roll 2d6s, add a stat. 6- is a failure, 7 - 9 is a partial success/success with concession/10+ is a full success.

Para crear las ediciones de descarga en PDF, cada página se ha procesado con un software de reconocimiento óptico de caracteres (OCR) para tratar de descifrar el texto impreso. El resultado se coloca de forma invisible debajo de la imagen de cada página escaneada para permitir búsquedas de texto. Formato original electrónico

Estos ebooks fueron creados a partir de los archivos originales de diseño digital y, por tanto, se pueden realizar búsquedas en todo su texto.
