Hello everyone! This adventure is a custom designed, convention style, unique, 5th edition premade (for 4 players). It was originally commissioned and written for last Gen-Con. It features an unconventional style that has many different characters, united for a common goal, but with various true intentions. Please take a moment to read the adventure overview below:

Adventure Overview:

Located on a remote island in the Korinn Archipelago, a small island chain within the Moonshae Isles, is a prison. Home to some of the regions most nefarious criminals, the Khatogon prison is renown for its impregnable structure and enigmatic magic defenses.

During the Magus Wars in 1312 RD, Queen Asgard was strapped for resources and desperately needed a place to house dangerous enemy sorcerers and wizards. A galley returning from a recent battle informed her that there was a island, located about five miles off the coast of the Navir, that held great promise. The island had towering sheer cliffs encompassing all sides of the island but one beachfront and this made it an ideal location to prevent prisoners from escaping. In addition the island appeared to be located near a tear in the Weave, the source of Arcane magic in Faerun, and thus magic was rendered useless on the island. The Queen and the ruling House Kendrick quickly moved to transfer the war’s most dangerous criminals to this new location. For decades the prison served it’s purpose, but then about thirty years ago the tear in the weave started to repair. The islands null zone for magic transformed into a wild magic zone, where magic was twisted and bended in the weave, but could function, albeit not always as intended. To counter the new ability of prisoners to use magic, the Queen implemented the Shadow Guard. The inside of the island still housed a garrison of the prisoners, but outside that garrison a pack of deadly monsters was released, known as the Shadow Guard, who would hunt and kill any escapees. In fact, the Shadow Guard was so deadly, that the Queen had to commission a powerful mage to create a zone of no passage around the one path leading from the beach to the prison garrison, so the regular guards, known as the Grey Guard, could transport prisoners to the garrison without being attacked by the Shadow Guard from the interior.

About two months ago, a high profile prisoner, a crime kingpin by the name of Brantel, was sent to the island. Responsible for dozens of planned assassinations and homicides, as well as political thuggery, Brantel was the rarely seen or heard from head of the Severed Hand rogues guild. Although unable to bribe himself out of this situation, he was able to get out a letter to his followers in the Severed Hand. Our adventurers all find themselves connected to Brantel in some way.

The listed price here will be for an eGuide version of the campaign. If you would like a hardcopy, we can arrange for a printed version to be mailed for an additional $9.99 (Non-international). If you would like more information on the campaign, or a list of characters, please let me know.

"in the Korinn Archipelago, a small island chain within the Moonshae Isles..."....IIRC, that is Forgotten Realms geography whose names are copyrighted by WotC. I wasn't aware this and any other FR references were being allowed.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
