Fifth Edition Done Rite!

With a hip-hip and a clippity-clop
He's out looking for a head to swap
So don't try to figure out a plan
You can't reason with a headless man!

Turn your NPC or favorite humanoid monstrosity into a decapitated rider who haunts the trails, paths, and roads that pass through the wilderness. Turn the quest for its lost head into your next adventure or make him the servant of your true villain though the possession of the horseman’s head.  Give him unique mounts or leave him with the traditional horse. Let him be the iconic mercenary or perhaps a female dragon rider.  Enjoy the classical terrors or throw something truly new at your players while still taking advantage of the emotional response players have to the headless horseman.

Brought to you by the same author who has brought you The Book of Monster Temalates, 101 Not So Simple Monster Templates, 101 Monster Feats, 101 Variant Monsters and a new free monster template in the Pathways e-zine each and every month for over 40 issues. Bring dread and terror back into your 5th Edition game with the Headless Horseman!

There is a PF version from Rite Publishing, and for those asking is Fifth Edition means D&D 5e, yes, that's what it means. Look at the rule system for this product on the far right of the page.

Is there a strictly PF version of this template ?, I haven't bought any 5th ED stuff and really don't intend too.

The rules system used is listed in the far right hand column via DrivehthruRpg, just below artists. The words Dungeons & Dragons is a trademark owned by Wizards of the Coast, which the OGL does not give us permission to use, I have no intention of challenging a trademark.

5th edition of what? Are you trying to say D&D 5th without saying D&D?

Same question, there are a lot of game rules in their 5th edition?

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
