This is the character building tool you need.

It is a personality tool to define what a character believes in. There are 73 codes outlined here, 146 is you include anti-codes (that is any code that stands for the opposite). These are the individual, personal rules that defines what a character believes in; what they live for...what they would die for.

Codes are defined as simply as possible so you can start putting this powerful tool to use right now!

Take the extra step in character design that separates a simple piece of paper from a vivid character that lives and breathes in your imagination.

Excerpted from Page 1 of "The Fire Within"

Its not always easy determining what a character believes in, what
they fight for—what they would die for. Now, you can quickly look
over our codes and add dynamic character content to you character.
Stop breing ywo dimension and make a stand for something.
Most role playing games make it easy enough to use skills, get
the bad guys and advance in ability. Most games fall short when it
come to figuring out what makes your character “tick.”

Codes
What a character-hero believes in is defined as their codes or principles.
Every character-hero follows a code, its just a matter of
quickly defining it.
Each of the following codes represents exhaustive research into
real codes of conduct, behavior, honor, and ethics. They were taken
from virtually every nation and throughout recorded history. The
codes are each listed by a latin name so that you do not recognize
the code by a name that it may be commonly associated with. This
was done because if you know which code was, say “Arthurian
Knighthood,” you would instantly make a judgement on what you
think that means as opposed to what it actually represents. This
means you will need to read the codes and consider their value and
not leap to common and likely, incorrect, assumptions.
Codes are important because they are what people live for, fight
for, and have often died for. They each represent some form of
ideal and mark a standard for what is believed to be valuable or
“Best” in us all.
Codes may be used in any other genres. Whatever game you
are playing, you are a hero of that world. Heroes believe in something.

01: Agnitio—The character seeks and values knowledge, for knowings
own sake. This includes a high value on all forms of knowledge:
accepted, scientific, forbidden, and taboo.

02: Amicus—This character believes in a strong sense of loyalty to
friends and that it is in the power of each and every person to...

PURCHASER
If I could see one more page or so I would concider buying this product. The preview just has the cover and the tittle page. Id like to see a bit of how it does what it does.

Sorry, so much 'so I listed one hundred things down so pay me a dollar' junk its hard to just blindly trust anymore.

PUBLISHER
I am attempting to show three pages in the preview; this gives you the first page of code descriptions. There is some difficulty in getting the preview to display page 3. This being the case, I will add the third page (in its entirety) to the product description. I hope this helps.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
