Modern Floorplans: Nightclub

Walking into the nightclub reminds Jacob of walking into a bee hive. Clubgoers buzz to and from the bar while others dance to the hypnotic drone of eletronica. Jacob feels his chest vibrate in sympathy with every beat of the pulsing music, and it takes him some moments to adjust to the flickering lights. His prey would most likely be in either be in the VIP room or the office. After the last 36 hours, Jacob was in no mood for niceties. Two minutes alone with the guy and he'd either have the information he needed or the satisfaction of beating the stuffing out of him. Jacob felt a hand clamp like a vice on his arm and was surprised to see a hulking bouncer standing next to him. It appears he was expected.

Where do you go from here? To the battle map, of course! If you need a map of a modern structure, you need Modern Floorplans. The Modern Floorplans series from Fabled Environments and 12 to Midnight offers gamers high quality maps in a variety of configurations:

  • Want to draw it out yourself? Use the 8.5×11 map as a guide.
  • Want to simply drop the map on the table and play? Use either the 24×36 full map (if you have access to a plotter printer) or print the tiled version on regular paper and assemble a full-size version yourself in a matter of minutes. Both versions are scaled at 1 inch equals 5 feet.
  • In addition, each floorplan also comes in versions without room labels and without furniture.

Note: All floorplans are rendered in black and white.

All maps are created by an architectural drafter using AutoCAD. This gives all of the maps the realistic feel that your players crave. Grab a copy of Modern Floorplans: Average Nightclub today, and keep an eye out for future releases!

The print quality of this map is excellent but the map itself lacks some basic stuff like storage rooms and a backstage. I was planning to use this map as the base of operations for the PCs in my SR4 campaign but I'll have to do some serious modificati [...]

This is a pretty decent floorplan, especially if you use print outs and real tokens. Me personally, though, I use digital maps which would allow for far more detail and color and such. Still, it's one less map that I don't have to make, and that makes [...]

Decent product. The floorplans are sharp and presented in a variety of styles. Its not as good a value as Oones products, but Oones doesn't do modern, so its decent enough. [...]

You get exactly what the description promises. I will find this product useful for superhero RPGs, but any modern setting can probably use a nightclub like the one laid out in these floorplans. [...]

These are well done by the folks that runs 12 to Midnight in real architectural software. That means you have a realistic building that can be used from Shadowrun to D20 Modern and everywhere in between and around! You can even use this building for a [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
